Children & Family Health Devon has five dedicated Speech and Language teams serving north, west and east Devon. Our teams are here to help you with speech and language difficulties around voice difficulties, language difficulties, speech difficulties, dysphagia and dysfluency.

About us
We offer support to children and young people who experience speech, language, communication, working on communication, understanding, talking, speech sounds and stammering.
We also work with children and young people who have eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties. We work in partnership with children and young people, their families and other professionals to reduce the impact of speech, language and communication difficulties, to allow them to participate more fully in daily life.
You can refer a child or young person to us in any of these areas by using the Single Point of Access and making a Request for Service once you’ve met our request criteria.
