Specialist Learning Disability

This Pathway supports children and young people and their families in Devon (excluding Plymouth) within Specialist Pathways in Positive Behaviour Support, Psychological and Emotional wellbeing, Specialist Sleep Support and Health.
The pathway supports:
- Children and Young people with a diagnosis of Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Disability and/or Autism.
- Have been identified as having a cognitive impairment which is moderate, severe or profound and which limits educational and functional development
- Specific diagnosis may also include neurodevelopmental and genetic conditions such as Down’s Syndrome, Prader Willis, Dornelia de Lange Syndrome. ( the list of neurodevelopmental and genetic conditions potentially supported by this pathway is too extensive to list)
