Welcome to our new website, lots more information will be coming over the next few months.
Our Toolkits provide helpful advice and strategies you can try with your child/ young person to help with difficulties related to Speech and Language Therapy.
Please use the links to the side for help and advice to try before deciding whether a referral is necessary. If another health or educational professional has made any recommendations about strategies or activities that you can try with your child while you are waiting, it is important that you keep these going.
These activities should be tried for 2 to 3 months prior to making a referral to Speech and Language Therapy with the exception for requests for children or young people who are stammering, which should be made immediately.
If you are concerned regarding sensory processing, please see further information and support from Occupational Therapy
