Using the toilet

If your child has difficulty with the sequence of toileting:

Use a picture of a toilet (your own if possible) to prompt him/her that it is time to go.

Use pictures of the stages of the toileting process to remind your child to wipe their bottom, flush the toilet, organise their clothes, wash their hands etc.
