Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service

Monday 12 May (International Nurses Day) saw the 60th Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service held at Westminster Abbey.

Lisa Pullen, Queens Nurse and Children and Family Health Devon’s Operational, Clinical and Professional Lead for the Community Children’s Nursing Pathway attended the event this year after completing the Florence Nightingale Foundation Leadership course in 2024.

The Florence Nightingale Commemoration Service has been held annually at Westminster Abbey since 1965 and is an important day for nursing and midwifery communities worldwide.
