Teams

Children and Family Health Devon has dedicated teams of professionals holding a range of skills and qualifications to support children and young people with their emotional or psychological wellbeing. The Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) teams serve North, South and Eastern Devon. They can offer many different treatment options, depending on the difficulties being experienced and the type of problem.

We aim to help families, children, young people and their carers find ways to develop to their fullest social and personal potential. We use a range of methods to support you including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, therapies, consultations and groups.

  • Northern Devon – including Barnstaple, Bideford, Ilfracombe and South Molton
  • Eastern Devon – including Exeter, Tiverton, Exmouth, Okehampton, Honiton, Sidmouth and Axminster
  • Torbay and South Devon – including Newton Abbot, Dartmouth, Tavistock, Teignmouth and Torbay

You can refer a child or young person to us in any of these areas by using the Single Point of Access and making a Request for Service once you’ve met our request criteria.
