Help! I’m stuck

Children and Family Health Devon provides help and support for families across Devon, so we know that sometimes we look complicated if this is your first visit.  We’ve designed this website to help you find your way to the help you need, but if you already know what you’re looking for you might find it easier to use the Directory of Services.

If not, our clever homepage will help you find your way. This page is a quick guide of how it works.

  •  You can always try the search bar in the top right hand corner of  the site. It’s there now, so give it a try.

Our homepage helps you find the service and support you need based on the difficulty you have. It’s as simple as answering the question ‘what are you looking for today?’ using the words that make sense to you.

Here’s how it works…

  • Choosing ‘Find advice and support’ from the boxes will take you to our support pages which give lots of advice about the conditions we support across Children and Family Health Devon. You can also select whether you’re a parent/carer, health professional or teacher to take you to the bit that’s right for you.

  • Next you need to type in a word or term that relates to what you’re looking for. You can use whatever word you’re familiar with (so no need to know the medical term) – and we’ll show you the nearest results we’ve got.

These are all the results for ‘autism’, for example. Just pick the one you need and click go.

Give it a spin.

We’re always adding information to the website and it might be that we haven’t yet got everything covered, so you can contact our Single Point of Access directly if you can’t find out what you need here (e: | t: 0330 024 5321).

We’re constantly improving the site and we want to hear what you think, take this quick and easy survey and let us know.
